My First WW Snack Order
I broke down under my growing weight and finally signed up for WW (previously Weight Watchers) program. I have been thinking about taking this step for a very long time, but it took an open back surgery to do it. When my spine injury ended my three year gym career, I had to think of something else. Nutrisystem and juicing didn’t help, so WW it was.
I signed up online and it was a very easy and painless procedure. I answered a few questions, picked a plan, and it was done. Now I have endless material to keep me on track and help me choose a better diet for my healthier self. I also paid a visit to my local WW studio to feel the program in person. I didn’t join the workshop in progress, but could feel the supportive mood of all the women in the room. I might do it again.
What really impressed me at the studio was an entire wall of snacks for purchase. I didn’t even know WW had their own snacks, but it makes perfect sense. All the foods are balanced and low in calories, but without paper taste like Nutrisystem was. The food was my main problem with the latter – I simply couldn’t exist on frozen and dry tasteless meals.
After spending a good 15 minutes examining the snacks and kitchen tools, I decided to get a box of WW snacks myself, because why not? I am for any help I can get to make my dieting easier and feeling less than a diet. Having a variety of approved healthy snacks handy is going to make my life that much more enjoyable.

- Keep Life Tasty Millie’s Sipping Broth
This arrived before the rest of my order. I was actually surprised when I got the package and couldn’t remember ordering it. These steepable broth bags are one amazing invention that I’ve never seen before. It’s like tea bags, but with various broth flavors. You can pretty much make a tea cup that tastes like Thai Lemongrass, Delight Pho, Spicy Tortilla, or Tomato Basil soup. With winter coming, I plan to sip this all the time!
All I have to do is boil an 8oz cup of water, steep broth bag for 4-6 min, squeeze, and enjoy. Each flavor has 3 bags, so I am good for 12 cups! And the best thing about all that – each serving has just 10 calories!
- WW Crunchy Potato Snack Ranch Veggie Snaps
The box contains 5 pouches with 80 calories per pouch, making each one a perfect snack. They will work perfectly on my long days on the road visiting customers and supervising my tree removal crew. I sure hope my kids won’t steal them from me because anything potato ranch sounds great for them too.
- WW Mini Bar 15 bar Variety Box
It can never be too many bars around our house – snacking husband, never home around lunch time me, and growing kids all can use a tasty and healthy bar. And those bars are both. They come in chocolate caramel, peanut butter pie, and mint cookie crunch flavors. Anything to do with mint works for me, so mint cookie crunch bar is my favorite. Each bar has just 60 calories, but endless and very satisfying taste.
- WW Oat & Mixed Berry Breakfast Cookies
There are days when I have to get up at 6:20am, get ready, get the kids ready, drop them off at school at 7:30am, and be at work at 8am. There is simply no time for a big breakfast in all that. This is why I decided to try breakfast cookies and I am loving them.
There are 5 pouches and each pouch is perfectly enough to get enough energy to tackle whatever the day brings. They taste good and contain 90 calories per serving pouch. I can see myself getting used to this breakfast luxury in no time!
- Sizzlin’ Sriracha Protein Puffs
Last but not least it’s protein time. These are great for an after work snack, on my way home from work, when I need a different ‘pick me up’ than morning coffee. And if I ever cheat the WW recommendations with beer, these puffs would be perfect to go along with that.
They are a little spicy, but I like it. It’s just the right amount of spiciness. There are 5 pouches with puffs and 70 calories in each. I get 11 grams of protein with each pouch and feel very satisfied without feeling stuffed.
As soon as these snacks are finished, I will be ready for more. My goal is to try many healthy things that WW has to offer and then pick my go-to favorites to keep me on track all the time.
