JoAnn is known for a wide selection of fabrics and beads, arts and craft supplies, and somewhat higher prices. Don’t let that last thing to deter you from visiting the store, because there are plenty of ways to get what you want and save some money in the process. All you need is a few tips and tricks, which we are ready to share with you:
- App
If you download the free app, you will always have access to some great coupons that differ from store email and text coupons. You will also get weekly ads.
- Text messages
Sign up for text alerts and get 20% off your first order. You will get various other coupons via text messages if you are interested.
- Email list
Put your email on the list and get email-specific coupons. While you might feel overwhelmed by the amount of coupons at first, keep in mind that you can stack them for maximum savings.
- Multiple coupons
You might be getting the same coupons via text, email, and regular mail, so take advantage of that and use them all for multiple regular priced items in your shopping cart.
- Clearance
JoAnn has clearance items scattered all over the store, with a small section of discounted stuff in each department, so check those deals first.
- Patterns on sale
Patterns can be very pricey at $20 each, but it’s not always the case. Sometimes they go on sale for 2-3 days or an entire week. This is the best time to buy them for as little as $1-$2 apiece, which is affordable and justifiable. It’s even cheaper than with 60% off coupon.

You really have it going on when you buy remnants on the days when fabric is 50%, which means that you’ll get 50% off already discounted fabric pieces and will end up paying pennies on a dollar.
